1. What IntakeKit Is

IntakeKit is a client onboarding portal platform. You create projects with forms and file requirements, share portal links with your clients, and they submit everything in one place. By using IntakeKit, you agree to these terms.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Don't upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Respect your clients' privacy and only collect information you have a legitimate reason to collect.
• Don't use IntakeKit to spam, phish, or harass anyone.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the platform.

4. Restricted Businesses

IntakeKit is designed for service businesses such as agencies, freelancers, consultants, legal firms, and professional practices. The following categories of businesses are not permitted to use the service:

• Banking and lending — We do not support businesses whose primary activity is banking, consumer lending, payday loans, or peer-to-peer lending.
• Adult entertainment — We do not support businesses primarily engaged in sexually explicit content or adult services.
• Alcohol — We do not support businesses primarily engaged in the sale of alcohol, including bars, distilleries, and online liquor retailers.
• Regulated financial services — We do not support businesses dealing in cryptocurrency exchanges, securities trading, or unlicensed money transmission.
• Gambling — We do not support online gambling, casinos, sports betting, or lottery services.
• Tobacco and vaping — We do not support businesses primarily selling tobacco products or electronic cigarettes.
• Weapons and firearms — We do not support businesses primarily selling firearms, ammunition, explosives, or related accessories.
• Multilevel marketing — We do not support pyramid schemes or unlicensed multilevel marketing organizations.

If your business falls into a regulated category not listed above, contact us before creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these restrictions.

5. Your Data

You own your data. Everything you and your clients upload to IntakeKit belongs to you. We provide the platform — we don't claim ownership of your content. You can export or delete your data at any time.

6. Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your billing settings. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

7. Free Plan

The free plan includes 3 projects and 10 clients total. No credit card required. We may adjust free plan limits with reasonable notice.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee 100% availability. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect the service. We'll give reasonable notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

IntakeKit is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted per our privacy policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
